Memory market continues an overall decline in memory prices. In-Demand Memory Goods are the 64GB and 32GB modules with the 2400Mhz 32GB showing the most activity. Our October guidance to customers is to buy 32GB at these prices. The market has continued to decline over August and September. However, the higher capacity 128GB are still over $1000 mark, partly due to Manufacturers controlling production quantities and Traders holding old stock at higher price points. Demand for 128GB is certainly there but price has to move below $1000 mark or the price of 64GB and 32GB rise before buyers opt for 128GB as their upgrade choice.  64GB dropped 10% from August and are very popular and demand is strong for these capacities. Currently 32GB prices are also very attractive having dropped further 8% in September. Inventories are stable for this capacity as Demand and Supply are very strong for this capacity.

16GB  prices are steady and are below $100, however customers are choosing the 32GB as a better option at the current prices. 8GB modules have declined to a point where we predict they will not move much further below this price point.

Notes:
1. DDR4 128GB old inventory is still in the market hence the sellers are keeping higher prices to cover their losses from the price decline over the summer.
2.DDR4 64GB 2666Mhz and 2400Mhz are in high demand for upgrades. Prices have declined a further 10% since August.
3. DDR4 32GB 2666Mhz and especially 2400Mhz is a great buy at $128. There is very strong demand for this capacity. As long stock levels support the in-demand 32GB modules the price will remain around $128 price point. If stock levels get depleted we will see prices rise for 32GB.
4. DDR4 16GB  2666Mhz, 2400Mhz and 2133Mhz (in all speeds) are below $100.  Demand for 16GB and 8GB is stable buyers are opting for higher capacity at current prices. Further price drop in these capacities is unlikely.
