These are estimated averages from variety of sources. Our July guidance to customers is to buy at these prices. . The market has experienced and absorbed the price decreases from the previous month. The major manufacturers have moved production lines to new technologies and higher capacities. Once the current inventory dries the prices may begin to move upwards.  128GB and 64GB have experienced a 3% – 4% decline month to month. However 32GB have dropped over 10% month over month. 16GB have declined by 20% and are a good buy at this time compared to 8GB which have declined by 10%.  The  major manufacturers are slowly moving production to higher capacity modules so in the near future the 16GB and 8GB supply may become constrained. If your deployment requires 16GB and 8GB DDR4s, now would be a good time to go ahead with your buy.

Notes:
1. DDR4 64GB 2133 Mhz parts continue to remain scarce in the market and prices are high. Indicating manufacturers moving their production lines to higher speed products.
2. DDR4 32GB 2666Mhz and 2400Mhz show a drop in prices by 10% from previous month. These modules appear to be stabilizing in price. These are at good prices to buy at this time.
3. DDR4 16GB 2666Mhz, 2400Mhz and 2133Mhz are a good buy at this time and have dropped by 20% from previous month. Further a large drop in prices is unlikely.
4. DDR4 8GB have shown the highest demand but 16GB at current prices are a better option for upgrade.
