The first two weeks of January have presented a stronger demand for IT products overall. The memory market in January as well has shown an increase in consumer demand. Major manufacturers and suppliers have indicated that they will be increasing prices in the near future. 128GB DDR4 3200Mhz and 2933Mhz have already experienced some price increases. 32GB products across all categories remains the top choice for customers upgrading their servers.

As of this writing the 128GB, 64GB, 32GB are still at discounted prices, and a good buy opportunity. Major manufacturers are indicating they are experiencing material shortages and hence availability of product is an issue on the higher capacities and will become a significant issue in the near future. In addition as the uncertainty in the market abates there will be a surge in demand on IT products as customers continue to build out their infrastructure to cope with the new normal.
