This PNY Technologies SSD7CS900-500-RB CS900 500 GB Solid State Drive is designed for media storage, use as a boot drive, or as a replacement for an existing drive. The SSD is equipped with a SATA III 6 Gb/s interface that is compatible with SATA II 3 Gb/s and fits into your system’s 2.5″ / 7mm drive bay. In terms of capacity, the drive allows users to store and access up to 500GB of data storage.
The CS900 SSD offers sequential write speeds of up to 500 MB/s and sequential read speeds of up to 550 MB/s via its Triple-Level Cell (TLC) NAND flash memory which means providing load and access times for files and programs that are faster than those of a traditional spinning hard drive. The drive has no moving parts, which is more durable than traditional hard drives and are better protected against damage from drops and bumps.
