The computer industry as a whole experienced double digit growth in the past two pandemic stricken years. Most analyst now forecast a slower growth rate in 2022. However, we believe in some segments the growth rate may still continue to remain strong. These segments are computer gaming, data centers and cloud infrastructure.

As we have mentioned in the past the industry will continue to be plagued with supply chain issues. Cloud operators  and Data Centers may continue to experience hardware shortages.

On the demand side the need for hardware and software to house, host and analyze vast amounts of data will continue. This is will all require essential hardware (memory, CPU, storage) to upgrade existing equipment and for new builds. Hence demand for these components will continue to remain strong.

The current pricing in the market for memory in all categories is stable and our suggestion to customers is to consider completing upgrading projects sooner than later. The pandemic as we know can take unpredictable turns and the pricing and availability for components can change in a matter of days.

Our sales teams are available to assist in you in all your memory and IT product procurement needs. They can also assist you in finding specialty parts and hard-to-find items. Our sales team can help you with CPU/Processor products, SSD, NVMe and other Storage and Networking gear as well.

Notes:
*RDIMM, also known as Registered Dual In-Line Memory Module, adds a register, which buffers the address and command signals between Dynamic Random-Access Memory modules (DRAM) on the DIMM and memory controller. RDIMM used to give better steadiness and scalability, ordinarily performs better compared to unregistered memory.

**LRDIMM represents load-decreased double inline memory module, utilized in servers that upholds higher densities than RDIMMs and contains a memory support (MB) chip. LRDIMMs are valuable in memory-concentrated applications in data centers, cloud & distributed computing and in high-performance computing (HPC).
