The Memory market in November – December has remained a fairly sideways. 3200Mhz DDR4 128GB and 64GB remain the strongest product category requested by customers. 32GB products across all speeds remains the top choice for customers upgrading their servers. Currently 128GB and 64GB in the 3200MHZ are at very attractive prices. We understand buyers have to make hard choices in their buying decisions. For instance customers needing memory upgrades see the 16GB at a great price, but they know their correct upgrade path is 32GB or 64GB. Having to decide on buying for immediate necessary needs versus buying the long term upgrade path to future protect their infrastructure can be a tough choice. There is a third option, and in many cases it is win-win for all parties to the transaction. There will be new ways of conducting business and businesses will innovate, reinvent themselves to survive and grow. This will create a fresh demand on IT products and hence the prices may rise.
